The Titirangi Community House operates as an Incorporated Society and is situated at 500 South Titirangi Road. The house provides a range of community-based programmes and workshops, including arts and crafts, fitness classes, educational courses and counselling support. Our popular School Holiday Programme caters for over 1,000 children annually, and the rooms within the house are available for hire at community-based rates.
As an incorporated society, we are managed by a Management Committee that meets monthly. We are currently recruiting 1-2 new Committee Members.
Ideally, you will be passionate about the Titirangi Community, have experience in marketing or fundraising and/or understand small business or non-profit organisations. What commitment is required? The Titirangi Community House meets ten times a year:
Management Committee members receive meeting papers in advance of each meeting and are expected to come prepared, ask questions, and contribute to discussions from their diverse expertise. At times the committee members may represent the organisation at meetings or events, such as reporting to the Local Board or participating in community events.
In line with our constitution, all our Management Committee Members are unpaid. This is a voluntary role.
