SATURDAY  & SUNDAY
PARTY A: 9am - 1pm
PARTY B: 1.30pm - 5.30pm

$40 per hour, minimum of 4 hours.  
$100 refundable bond

THE SPACE

You will have sole use of the house – with access to the Kauri Room (40 capacity), Foyer space (perfect for setting up food or activities), Kitchen, Toilets, outside deck area.   (There are two other rooms which can be hired at an additional charge)

The House space is bright and welcoming space with a small outdoor deck which is partially covered to allow protection from the sun or rain and has an sunshade which can be opened up to provide greater sun cover.
There are polished wooden floors in the foyer, kitchen and toilers and the Kauri Room is carpeted.  We have a heat pump in the Kauri Room which offers all year comfort by heating or cooling. There is a hatch to serve food from the room.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven and dishwasher, along with a microwave, zip and fridge freezer. We also have crockery, cutlery and serveware available to our hirers, along with trestle tables and chairs for you to use free of charge.

  40 stackable chairs

VENUE CAPACITY FOR PARTIES

The Kauri Room is suitable for a maximum of 40 guests 
Kauri Room dimensions are: 7 x 7 metres
There are 4 power points in the Kauri Room.  Bring your own extension leads.

FOOD & ALCOHOL

The Kauri Room has access to a kitchen through a serving hatch into the hall. You're welcome to use the kitchen for self-catering your event or with external caterers. Included in the kitchen there are one sink, hot water zip, single fridge / freezer, oven and stove top, microwave and dishwasher. We have cutlery, glassware, crockery and cooking and serving equipment available
​We are an alcohol free venue 

CLEANING

Cleaning equipment is provided. You are expected to leave the venue as you found it. Cleaning and pack up time must be included within your booking, as there may be groups using the space after your allocated time slot. Please ensure you and book enough time to clean it after your event.
All rubbish must be removed from the facility.

A failure to leave the facility clean and removal of rubbish may result in a lost of bond.​

LOCATION

The Community House is located at War Memorial Park, 500 South Titirangi Road, Titirangi. There are a variety of shops, including a cafe, supermarket, bakery, dairy, bookshop, florist takeaway, and public transport options are available. We are also adjacent to The Titirangi Library and Titirangi Memorial Hall.

ACCESSIBILITY

The house is wheelchair accessible and there is a wheelchair accessible toilet in the main hallway. We also have a disabled parking space outside the building and another 4 accessible parks within the carpark.
There is a baby changing table within the disabled toilet but please take nappies away with you

PARKING

There are free private car parking spaces, that are first come first serve to all our users and those sharing War Memorial Park. Residential street parking is available within a short walk of the House.

BOOKINGS

Bookings must adhere to the allocated party time slots:
Saturday and Sunday 9am - 1pm and 1:30pm - 5:30pm.
A $100 bond refundable bond is required to hold the booking and payment for hire MUST be paid before the date of the booking. 

KEYS

You will need to collect a hall key from the office in the week prior to your booking and return to the office the week after the booking.  No bond will be returned until keys are returned.
The office hours are 9am - 2pm Monday to Friday.
Keys will only be issued if the payment is processed

RULES

No alcohol on premises
No smoking or vaping
If you set off the fire alarm, there may be a fine if the fire service are called
No sellotape push-pins, tacks or nails to be used on the wooden walls
Blutack on the walls is ok
Please remove any decorations by end of your session

Please take all rubbish with you and ensure house is left tidy and clean
